Hong Kong Pride 2026: Cancelled

Hong Kong Pride 2026, which was supposed to take place on 14 November 2026, has been cancelled. This marks the second year of cancellation for the Rainbow Market event.

What happens at Hong Kong's Rainbow Market?

Unlike traditional Pride events in Asia, Hong Kong Pride recently shifted its focus on the creativity of the LGBTQ community with a Rainbow Market. This event aims to bring together the community for a day of connection, creativity, and diversity. The Rainbow Market was originally scheduled for 14th November at Central Market, from 12 nn to 7 pm. Admission is free for everyone!

The 2026 Hong Kong Pride theme was, "Step Out for All, Show Up with Pride." With this theme, Hong Kong Pride wanted to show that there is no "right way" to come out, and being your true self is a brave step, no matter how big or small.
