Established in 1989, Micky's is an L.A. gay institution and regarded as one of the most popular gay venues n West Hollywood.

Beaches Tropicana is a bi-level LGBTQ+ nightclub in West Hollywood’s Rainbow District (in the former Heart WeHo building), created by the team behind Beaches WeHo. They worked with Heart’s original co-owners, *NSYNC’s Lance Bass and Paul Nicholls, to transform the space. Today, the club has a bi-level layout, VIP balconies, and private booths.

The drag performances bring in big-name queens, while top DJs take over the club for late nights. Beaches Tropicana also hosts RuPaul’s Drag Race viewing parties that get the crowd particularly involved.

There’s food, too: the executive chef created the menu from scratch, with a selection designed more for cocktail-hour grazing than a formal dinner. Happy hour is another major draw.

Downtown’s LA's largest gay bar, Precinct has quickly made a name for itself since opening in mid-2015.

From drag shows by the Boulet Brothers to events by perennial partier Mario Diaz, they’ve attracted many of LA’s contemporary nightlife legends. If downtown LA is the new West Hollywood, this is their Abbey.

Just a few blocks from the Ace Hotel, the self-dubbed "rock and roll gay bar" is a space for leather, lipstick, and bears.

The expansive 8500 ft² 2nd floor includes a bar, dance floor, stage and a wrap-around terrace with commanding views over the exposed brick decor. A perfect spot for a Sunday beer.

While not a gay venue, Catch One is an LGBT-popular nightclub with two levels, featuring live DJs, musicians, performers and various live acts.

This bustling club welcomes a mixed, diverse crowd. Expect a state-of-the-art sound system, flashing lights, and a large dance floor. Music is mostly electronic, and on occasion the club features rappers.

KISO is a gay nightclub in DTLA housed in the former SCORE, one of the area’s oldest gay bars. The venue is divided into three rooms, so there’s a clear progression through the space.

The front cocktail bar has tables and seating for catching up over drinks. Beyond that, the lounge has mood lighting and larger seating for groups celebrating together. An archway leads into the dance room, which has a second bar, a stage, and a DJ setup. The décor includes homoerotic artwork that is suggestive rather than graphic.

The club’s weekly offerings cover a lot of queer nightlife. Kiso Karaoke shares the schedule with Chingona, a Latin night featuring drag shows and hot Latin go-go dancers. There are also RuPaul’s Drag Race viewing parties, KCL go-go boy shows, and other themed events.

Weekends get busier after 11 pm, particularly once the dance floor gets going.

This North Hollywood gay Latin nightclub features 3 bars and a dance floor with go-go dancers parading around the venue. Club Cobra serves premium drinks and cocktails and offers multi-bottle service, with exclusive VIP sections available.

Weekly themed parties here include Transgender Thursdays. Drinks specials and Spanish music keep the action going until the early morning hours.
